Senior Corporate Security Manager

Job Summary:
The Business Assurance Sr. Manager (Security, Safety and Business Continuity)- EMEA, manages
all elements of the security programs at all Amazon corporate locations in EMEA and provides subject matter expertise to other company sites within the region. The Manager responsibilities include, ensuring that the sites in their assigned region meet the corporate security standards, conducting security audits and inspections, investigating reports of thefts/breaches, developing plans to mitigate any gaps in the security controls, maintaining working relationships with law enforcement, managing the guarding and access control programs, developing crisis response plans and coordinating the installation/maintenance of the physical security system. This position is based in Luxembourg and reports to the Sr. Manager Global Real Estate and Facilities, with a dotted line to the Sr. Manager Global Corporate Security, Business Assurance (Seattle).

The Sr Mgr is expected to drive the corporate security program within the EMEA region and their success will be based in large part on their ability to build collaborative relationships with their peers on the Facilities Management, Business Continuity and Corporate Safety teams. The Sr Mgr is a new position and much of their time will initially be focused on:

· Building working relationships with peer groups and internal customers.
· Conducting site security audits and inspections.
· Drafting detailed reports.
· Developing plans to close any potential gaps in the security controls.
· Creating and maintaining budgets.
· Reviewing and evaluating the effectiveness of the guard force.
· Developing security service and security integrator vendor relationships
· Supporting security design and operations at new facilities
· Writing detailed work orders.
· Conduct security awareness training programs.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
· 5+ years of experience in corporate security for a global company.
· 7+ years leading security, military or law enforcement units.
· 5+ years of experience with managing guard service providers.
· 5+ years of experience with managing security integrators.
· 3 plus years developing and/or conducting security audits and tests.
· Writing and publishing security standards.
· Strong working knowledge of physical security systems and components.
· Strong skills and experience in writing technical investigations and risk assessments.
· Skilled in developing metrics and in conducting security related trend analysis.
· Ability to develop and delivery security awareness training programs.
· Advanced skills in all Microsoft products.
· Ability to travel 50% of the time with little to no notice.
· Ability to stand long hours, lift 20 pounds and work at times in an industrial environment.
· Must be fluent in English.
· BS degree (or higher) in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Business Management, Accounting or equivalent education or experience.
Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:
· CPP, PSP or CFE Certification.
· 7+ years of corporate security or military experience.
· Experience with the collection and analysis of threat intelligence.
· Experience with Black Hat Physical Penetration Testing.
· Ability to speak multiple languages that are common in the region is a plus.
· BS degree (or higher) in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Business Management, Accounting or equivalent education or experience.
