Directly supports and provides personal security for the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the corporation. Responsible for escorts, driving, residential security. Drives company vehicle to transport top level executives, other personnel and visitors. Maintains close liaison with USB flight operations to coordinate transportation requirements. Overseas the appearance, operation, maintenance and servicing of the vehicle and makes arrangement to ensure the optimum operation of the vehicle. Assesses residential and corporate offices for security risks against damage, fire, theft, trespassing and illegal entry. Ensures proper identification of employees and visitors. Investigates disturbances, potential risks and in the event of an emergency move the principal to safety. May serve as liaison with law enforcement when necessary. Holds valid firearms permit, completes routine weapons training and carries firearm while on duty.

Essential Functions 
1. Provides transportation to the CEO and Chairman twenty four hours a day, seven days a week, if necessary.
2. Travels with the CEO based on risk assessment and planning with the CEO and Chairman’s office.
3. Uses relative information from CEO, Chairman and executive assistants to identify issues and develop strategies for identifying and anticipating security issues, obstacles or opportunities that may impact plans or actions.
4. Assumes responsibility for necessary actions or problem resolution when accountability is not clear: appropriately initiates behavior on projects or other initiative without requiring explicit management direction or guidance. Exercises independent judgement.
5. Observes Executives present, current surroundings and takes proactive role in ensuring safety. Reports suspicious activities. Additionally completes advance work at future locations ensuring executive/spouse meets commitments within a secure environment. Requires vast knowledge of varied transportation routes to ensure safety and timeliness. Performs other assignments as requested for the CEO/principal’s efficiency.
6. Maintains records for all Executive Protection related expenses and paperwork. Reviews all related invoices for accuracy


Qualifications
Incumbent typically has high school education or equivalent and three to five years experience as an Executive Protection Specialist or bodyguard providing similar services to a corporations’ executives.
Possesses high level of integrity and ability to maintain confidential information. Good organizational and project management skills.
Well-developed customer relations skills.
Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks.
Ability to interface with all levels of employees and customers.
Working knowledge of the company security standards, policies and procedures.
Must possess valid driver’s license and either possesses or is capable of possessing a concealed weapons permit for use during course of duties.
Must be able to pass a Defensive driving course as part of assigned duties.
Utilizes high degree of anticipation and exercises judgement in determining risk factors.
Position interacts with top executives thus a high level of confidentiality is required at all times.
