About the Job: The SBD Asset Protection team provides safety, executive & investigative related oversight and guidance to SBD business units. This position reports into the Safety Services Manager and is responsible for a variety of tasks to include WHQ Campus Safety Services, Executive Operations, Transportation. The primary objective of this position is to safeguard the facility / grounds, executive
protection / transportation, executive residence security and be a First Responder in a crisis situation. This position will work with various Executive employees, Asset Protection professionals, local law enforcement and outside consultants, as and if required. This position will require travel, including non-business hours and weekends.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Safety Services of the WHQ campus.
Directing visitors and controlling access at either front lobby or at the Safety Services campus entrance station.
Monitoring CCTV, security and fire suppression systems.
Patrolling and securing areas inside and outside the facility.
Documenting security and safety related incidents.
Transportation / Driving/ Security & Safety of SBD executive management (i.e. business trips, airport transportation and special functions).
Conduct route surveys and assessments.
Conduct advance operations at venue sites (i.e. meeting locations, special functions).
Variety of ancillary duties, to primarily include protective intelligence training, perimeter protection; safe and effective principal movement in a wide variety of environments, protective leadership, effective operational and logistical coordination are core duty requirements.
WHQ facility / ground security system operations and familiarization with Executive resident security operations / systems on a technical basis.
Executive Office Visitor Escorts and First Responder to Executive Crisis Situation.
Provide First Aid / CPR / AED

Education or Experience:
Required:

High School Diploma or GED.
Strong leadership skills including effective oral and written communication, issue resolution, negotiation, motivating others, collaborative team player, ability to deal with obstacles and partner with senior management to identify / solve problems.
Strong knowledge of GPS technology and various communication devices.
Microsoft Office computer skills including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
Demonstrated capability to travel worldwide and work through culture and language barriers.
Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing.
Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening process.
Have a valid driver’s license, and clean driving history if driving a company-owned vehicle.

Preferred:
Bachelor Degree; Loss Prevention/Security related field strongly preferred.
Minimum 2+ years experience working in police or corporate executive protection driving program or security related position.
Formal training credentials in Executive Protection Operations by a recognized provider to include Firearm Training / Skills, Self-Defense Tactics and Evasive Driving Techniques.
Accident avoidance and vehicle dynamic training with a good understanding of how time and distance works while in motion.
Extraordinary physical fitness and proficiency in a martial art and / or other defensive skills.
CPR / AED / First Aid Training.
Strategic thinker to identify and minimize exposure to global emerging trends and threats
 
Other Skills:
Strong knowledge of emergency / attack evacuation maneuvers and ability to react to any threat inside / outside the vehicle.
