Job Summary
The Guard-ECP position falls under the in-country Security Department. Under the supervision of the Lead Guard ECP and Site Security Lead, the incumbent will perform duties related with the entry/access control to DynCorp and assigned facilities, protective patrols, perimeter security and internal security of the facilities.

Principal Accountabilities
(Typical duties include the following, although specific duties vary by assignment or contract.)
Conduct proper searches of all personnel and vehicles entering and exiting assigned DynCorp facility.
Maintain watch over assigned areas.
Enforce all rules and regulations pertaining to entry and exit of personnel and vehicles.
Be well versed in company SOPs as to the types of searches for each category of visitor to the facility and ensure that the proper searches are conducted.
Assist in discouraging behaviour that would reflect poorly on the company and the customer.
Complete all tasks and assignments in a timely and professional manner.
Ensure proper use, maintenance, accountability and care of all company or program issued equipment.
Provide deterrence against the commission of wrongful and unsafe acts, unauthorized and/illegal activities, including potentially life-threatening activities, protection of information, programs and company or program facilities and property.
Perform other qualified duties as assigned.


Knowledge & Skills
Ability to communicate effectively with persons at all levels.
Knowledge of company’s security policies and procedures.
Ability to conduct static security operations.
Technical and tactical proficiency with the various small arms used in support of company operations.
Ability to communicate in the English language.
Additional knowledge/skills may be required by contract or assignment.



Experience & Education
High School degree or equivalent required.
At minimum possess five (5) years military (Combat Arms) or Law Enforcement experience.
Must have obtained a Weapons Certification within last 10 years.
Additional experience/education may be required by contract or assignment.




Physical Requirements/Working Environment

Place of duty and environmental conditions can be extremely austere, harsh, and work can be performed under hostile and life-threatening conditions.
May be required to respond to a wide variety of operational circumstances, including extreme weather conditions and rudimentary infrastructure.


Travel
Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
