Rare Permanent Low Experience Opportunity in Hong Kong 2x CPOs

A very rare permanent opportunity has arisen in Hong Kong for 2 ambitious apprentice Close Protection Officers in a major global company.

I say ‘ambitious’ – because this role is unlike many others.

You will be joining a small, closely knit team looking after ultra HNW individuals. The role requires a great deal of travel internationally – and you will eventually be expected to handle advance party reconnaissance, security planning, cross party co-ordination and liaising with various internal departments to get things done professionally, often to a pressurised timetable.

You will be a naturally adept ‘people person’ – able to get your point across respectfully at the highest corporate levels, whilst instinctively knowing where the line is. You will be dealing with people who make decisions that move global markets – so having eloquence, good manners and perhaps more importantly, patience are as much critical as technical skill and command presence.

You will have completed an accredited Basic Close Protection qualification from a reputable organisation and be willing to work to a subtle British style protection system. You will hold at least a basic first aid qualification. Cantonese and Mandarin language skills are desirable, but are not as essential as open mindedness and a willingness to learn quickly, diligently and professionally. This role would suit a newbie to the circuit or someone who is looking for a break into the major corporate sector.

You will also be willing for us to conduct intensive background checks that include contacting previous employers, training school verification, personal references and credit reference checks. It is also a condition of employment that you will be willing to sign a comprehensive Non-Disclosure Agreement.

You must be willing to relocate to Hong Kong and able to get a Chinese multiple entry visa without restriction as you will be traveling into greater China (as well as globally) regularly.

Remuneration is around HKD$23,000 per month (negotiable), along with a Company Provident Fund, Life Insurance and Private Medical Insurance (subject to approval). You will also be able to negotiate various other benefits on request and they will be dependent on experience.

Although a relatively low starting salary you will also be very well looked after whilst you are on duty and the level of luxury of your working environments will be exceptional – working out of one of the most iconic skyscrapers in our Hong Kong headquarters.
